GORDON TROY is an intellectual property attorney with the law firm of Gordon E. R. Troy, PC, where he practices trademark, copyright, unfair competition, Internet, computer law, and intellectual property counseling and litigation matters. He is counsel to many start-up, micro, and small companies. He has extensive experience representing clients in the emerging information technology and software industries, as well as conventional intellectual property matters. Prior to coming to Vermont , Mr. Troy worked in the computer industry designing and developing systems for Burroughs “Unisys” and other companies in Chicago and New York. He also represented Fortune100 companies domestically and internationally in trademark and unfair competition cases. His firm offers a complete spectrum of intellectual property counseling. With associate attorneys strategically located around the globe and Mr. Troy 's extensive experience in the software industry, the firm is able to use the latest technologies delivering cost effective representation to its clients. Mr. Troy received his B.A. degree from Rollins College and J.D. degree from John Marshall Law School in 1986. He is admitted to practice in Vermont , New York , Illinois District of Columbia , and is a member of the Vermont and American Bar Associations. His practice is located in Charlotte, Vermont where he also resides with his wife and family |
